Clinics Seeking International Patients: How to Publish Price Ranges Patients Trust

What to include in a published range, how to explain what moves the price, and why a clear range beats “contact us for pricing.”

Key takeaways

  • Patients researching abroad filter clinics by price before they ever make contact.
  • Publish a range per procedure, in USD, with what is and isn’t included.
  • Explain what moves a patient to the top or bottom of the range.
  • No cost during our launch period: if your clinic already works this way, apply to our network in about five minutes.

International patients start with price. Before they send records or book a call, they want to know whether a procedure in your country fits their budget. A clinic that answers “contact us for pricing” often loses them to one that publishes a range.

This guide explains how to publish price ranges that patients trust. At the end, we explain how our referral network works.

Why a range beats “contact us”

Patients know a final price depends on their case. What they need early is a realistic range to decide whether to keep going. When a clinic hides prices entirely, patients assume the number is high, or that it will change once they arrive. A published range with honest conditions earns more inquiries, and better-qualified ones.

What a trustworthy range includes

  • The procedure, named the way patients search for it.
  • A low and high figure in USD, not a “from” price that almost nobody pays.
  • What’s included: surgeon, facility, anesthesia, implants or materials, standard follow-up visits.
  • What’s not included: travel, lodging, extra nights, additional procedures.
  • The date the range was last updated.

Explain what moves the price

Give two or three plain-language factors that put a patient at the top or bottom of the range: case complexity, combined procedures, implant choice, length of stay. Patients who understand why prices vary trust the number more, and arrive with expectations that match your quote.

Our network: how we send you patients

If your clinic already works this way, or wants to, you can receive patients through our network. MedicalCosts.co is part of a network of English-language guides for patients researching treatment abroad, many of them considering Colombia.

  1. A patient contacts usThey read our guides and tell us about their case through our form or WhatsApp.
  2. We check and assignWe confirm the procedure, dates, budget and records. If the case is complete and fits your clinic, we send it to you.
  3. Your clinic quotesYour coordinator contacts the patient in English, with a price in USD. The medical and commercial relationship is between you and the patient.

Each case goes to one clinic at a time. If your clinic can’t take it or doesn’t reply within one business day, it goes to another approved partner.

Frequently asked questions

Do we have to publish exact prices?

No. A realistic range in USD with clear inclusions is enough to answer the first question patients ask.

How much does it cost to join?

Nothing during our launch period. If we send you a case, you pay nothing for it. Later on, partnership will become a paid marketing service; you’ll see the terms in writing and decide whether to continue before any charge.

Do you guarantee a number of patients?

No. We send cases when they come in and fit your specialty and location. Be wary of anyone who promises volume.

Who collects payment from the patient?

You do. Your clinic evaluates the patient, sets the price and collects payment directly. We’re never involved in the medical payment.
